In general, you may browse the NASH site without providing any personal information to NASH. We may provide you with opportunities to sign up to receive information or services from us. The amount of information that you provide to NASH will depend on the range and the number of services that you choose to use. These are used for the above purposes as well as to inform, optimise, and serve ads on the internet based on a user’s past visits to the Website. WILL YOU RECEIVE COMMUNICATIONS FROM US?

From time to time, we will communicate with you regarding our services, product, latest promotions, your membership, including election and meeting information, practice updates and advice, new policy or regulation, conferences, events, opportunities, benefits of membership, promotions, sponsor deals, surveys, newsletters and the like. This will include communicating with you electronically, by email, phone or by text/SMS.
19. By registering with us for membership or for any event, conference or promotion, or by providing us with your details for our database, you consent to receive communications from us. You may opt out of receiving communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in each communication, or by sending an email to us.

(a) to our board members, employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents,

This will be for the purposes related to the provision of our services, competitions that we may run, promotions, information and marketing. We use third party providers to store our data, including personal information and we take reasonable steps to ensure that our third party data processors can meet our privacy and security requirements. All the information we hold about you will be processed and stored in accordance with data protection laws which include but are not limited to the Privacy Act 2020.

25. We take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information that we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised disclosure or access. If you suspect your personal information may no longer be secure or has been compromised, please let us know immediately.
26. Any credit card details used to make a payment to us are securely transmitted to our bank where the transaction will either be accepted or declined. We only store a payment authorisation reference number associated with your transaction(s) for the purposes of keeping track of payments to us but we do not store your credit card details. The reference cannot be used for any other purpose other than noting the fact that you conducted a credit card transaction with us.
